GOOD TEMPLARY

The Star of the South Rebekah Lodse held its semi-annual installation of officers last week. L.D.D.G.M. Sis. Brown (Clinton), assisted by Sis. M'Lelland (Owaka), Sis. Foley, Sis. Little, and Bro. Fulton (Tahakopa), installed the following officers into their respective chairs:— Past grand, Sis. Geary; N.G., Sis. Rush; V.G., Sis. E. Bromby; R. secretary, Sis. D. MTntyre; permanent secretary, Bro. Fiveash; warden, Sis. Fiveash; conductor. Sis. Stickle; chaplain, Sis. B. Bromby; R.S.N.G., Sis. Rooney; L.S.N.G., Sis. O. MTntyre; R.S.V.G., Sis. Fulton; L.S.V.O, Sis. Gould; inside guardian. Sis. Foley; outside guardian, Sis. R. MTntyre; musician. Sis. Reed. Greetings were conveyed from Rose of Clinton by Sis. Fletcher and Olive Owaka by Sis. M'Lelland. At the close of the ceremony L.D.D.G.M. presented Sis. Rooney on behalf of the Star of the South Rebekah Lodge with a past grand’s certificate. Sis. Rooney suitably replied. The weekly meeting of Beacon Temple was held prior to the adult lodge, C.T. Sis. Elsie Storm presiding over a largattendance of members. During the evening two candidates were initiated into the Order. The officers for the ensuing quarter were installed by the superintendent, assisted by Sis. Mrs Telfcr, assistantsuperintendent. and ' Sis. M‘Cormack as installing marshals. Bro. Storm, of All Nations Lodge, conducted a game of quoits with juveniles.
