DEATH IN DENTAL SURGERY (Per United Press Association.) WHAKATANE, April 7. Gordon Davies, aged 10 years, a son of Mr F. M. Davies, of Nukuhou North, died while under an anesthetic in a dental surgery hero this afternoon. FATAL KICK FROM HORSE (Per United I’itr.ds association.) MASTERTON, April 7. As the result of a kick from a horse Robert Oliver Smith, a well-known settler of Earlyhurst, Bidcford, lost .his life yesterday. The body was found down a steep bank, where it had been dragged by the horse, the deceased having become entangled in a rope.
