LIGHT-WEIGHT BOXING
BOUT AT SYDNEY STADIUM THE TITLE CHANGES HANDS. SYDNEY, April 3. (Received April 4, at 1.30 a.m.) The light-weight championship changed hands at the Stadium to-night, Jimmy Kelso 9.81 outpointing Bobby Delaney, the holder, 9.7 J, in 15 rounds. It was n thrilling, fast contest, the big crowd being electrified. Delaney was completely outgcneralled by Kelso’s smart tactics, his elusiveness, and his ability to land right and left crosses to the face and the body just when he wanted to. Delaney was seen to better purpose in clinches, but was rather inclined to hang on, for which he was warned.
