The Agua Caliente Handicap, 26,000 dollars, resulted as follows:—-Gallant Sir 1 Waylaver 2, Lemon Hills 3. Won easily in ‘2min 2 3-ssec, a track record for a mile and a-quarter and 1-Sseo better than the record set by *Phar Lap las* year. Pillow Flight did not run. WIN FOR TEA TRADER. (Received April 3, at 8 p.m.) The disappointment of the crowd at the withdrawal of Pillow Fight was partially allayed by the appearance of Tea Trader as victor in a sprint race worth GOO dollars.
