Architects are designing wedding cukes,. For a bride born in December one architect produced a silver and white ringed globe representing Saturn. Another cake had a tall sugar tower reflected in a minor at the base. The bride and groom were made in sugar, dressed in their wedding clothes and sitting on a couch beside a small fountain of spun glass. A couple who were going to live in China ordered a cake made with pagodas in the Chinese manner. The most amusing cake of all had the bride and groom sitting on top of a sugar world which was suppoited hy their parents—little sugar figures bent double under the weight.
