TAIERI PIPE BAND
ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Taieri Pipe Band was well attended. Mr Taylor occupied the chair. The report and balance sheet showed a very satisfactory position. The band was at full strength and in a high state of efliciency. There were a number of young players in training. Reference was made to the success of the band at the recent competitions in Dunedin. The following orhee-bearers were elected:—President, Mr D. Livingstone: secretary and treasurer, Mr J. M. Stavart; General Committee—Messrs A. Stevens, S. Gibson, J. Kemp, A. M'Cloy, J. Taylor, and A. M'Killop: pipe-major, Mr C. Hendry; drum-am.jor, Mr L. Lloyd; pipe-sergeant, Mr I. Chirnside; pipecorporal. Mr J. Renton; pipe lance-eoy-poral, Mr S. Waldie; custodian. Mr S. Waldie: trustees —Messrs D. Livingstone. J M. Stavart, and A. M'Cloy.
