There, was a light southerly breeze. The barometer was steady at 30.05 in. WELLINGTON, December 15. It was a glorious summer day to-day. The sky was cloudless. It was very hot, with an absence of wind. CHRISTCHURCH, December 15. The morning was fine to-day, but the afternoon wag cloudy and' cool. A strong E.N.E. breeze was blowing. The maximum temperature was Oldeg. The.barom* ] eter fell five points to 30.09, and then commenced to rise.
