(From Our, Own Correspondent.) TAPANUI, December 14. , CRICKET. TAPANUI v. GORE B. Under favourable weather conditions Tapanui met a team from Gore B on the local ground on Wednesday, when the visitors suffered defeat by 40 runs. Batting first Gore was dismissed for 88 runs. Popplewell was the only batsman to make double figures, and he batted vigorously for 28. Tapanui _ passed Gore’s score with three wickets in hand and were all out for 128 runs. Both A.
