UNION OF CHURCHES
PRESBYTERY FAVOURS CO OPERATION (Feb United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, December 14. The question of church union was discussed by the Christchurch Presbytery this morning- when a resolution was carried unanimously opposing union at present on the ground “that the time is not ripe for an incorporating union between the Congregational, Methodist, and Presbyterian Churches, but the presbytery realises there is a call for closer co-operation.” A conference is suggested to that end.
