AMERICANS FOE DUNEDIN. Advice has been received by the secretary of the Otago Swimming Centra that the New Zealand Swimming Council will be able, towards the . end of next February, to arrange for two appearances in Dunedin of an American team consisting of Kalili and Kurtz. Kalili, who has beaten "Buster” Crabbc, the 400-metre Olympic champion, is one of the greatest all-round swimmers in the world, and Kurtz, who gained third place in the high-diving championship at the last Olympic games, is recognised as one of the world’s finest divers. The Otago Centro will consider the proposed visit at its meeting this evening.
