WASHINGTON SENSATION
PARLIAMENT INTERRUPTED MAN WITH A REVOLVER. WASHINGTON, December 13. A man who gave the name of Martin Kemerer, from Allentown (Pennsylvania), stood up in the gallery of the House of Representatives on Tuesday. Covering the floor with n revolver he waved the gun toward members. Representatives looked up startled. Some headed for the cloakrooms. “ I want the floor for a few minutes,” the man shouted. He stood a few moments waving his gun; then Representative Melvin Maas (Republican, Minnesota) walked acioss the chamber directly below him and eaid: “Throw down that gun. He pitched the gun to Mr Maas, who caught at. The police rushed into the gallery and seized the man. The House then j resumed its. proceedings.
