TREAT FOR. CHILDREN On Saturday afternoon the young children of the unemployed will be entertained by the Girl Guides of Port Chalmers and the committee. The function will be held in the Garrison Hall between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. SECOND SCHOOL CONCERT The Port Chalmers Town Hall was again filled to capacity by an enthusiastic audience last night on the ofccasion of the second concert given by pupils from the school prior to the annual break-up ceremony. The entertainment, met with the approval it deserved, and the children acquitted themselves admirably. UPPER HARBOUR DREDGING Her annual overhaul almost completed, the dredge Otakou will be removed from the Otago dock to-day. The Otakou will commence dredging in the Upper Harbour on Monday.
