LEX MACDONALD CONCERT

The concert to be given by Lex Macdonald, assisted by a number of Dunedin's leading soloists in the Town Hall on Wednesday evening, promises to be one of the most enjoyable musical events of the season, and the public is assured of entertainment of a very high standard. Dr V. E. Galway will present several organ solos and will also accompany Mr Ernest Drake's student choir, which will be heard in part songs, including Mendelssohn's "Hear My Prayer," the solo part of which will be sung by Lex Macdonald. The supporting artists are Misses Mary Pratt, Margaret Howden, Mae Matheson, Freda Elmes and Ethel Wallace (violinist), Messrs Dennis Dowling and Harold Bain (elocutionist). Mrs Ernest Drake will accompany the soloists.
