ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
BOY DROWNED IN RIVER (Pick United Press Association.l WANGANUI, October 13. Leu Grogan, aged 15, was drowned in the river at Papaiti this morning as the result of a canoe which was occupied by deceased and another boy overturning. INJURIES PROVE FATAL (Pek United .Press Association.) WELLINGTON, October 13. The death occurred in Wellington Hospital of Ernest Woolstou, aged 32. He was admitted the previous day, suffering from injuries received through falling from a moving motor lorry at the Thorndon breastwork. In addition to a compound fracture of the left arm and a fracture of the left leg, he received interna] injuries and shock. Woolston was a steward on the ferry steamer Rangntirn. He leaves a widow.
