LAUNCH OVERTURNS
SIX PEOPLE DROWNED ‘ SUDDEN STORM ON LAKE. VANCOUVER, October 13. (Received Oct. 13, at 11 p.m.) John Skinner, chief engineer at the Lake Shore mine, and six of his Staff, including three girl stenographers, were drowned when a launch overturned in a sudden storm on Larder Lake, near Kirkland, Ontario. They were en route to a thanksgiving supper given by the com* pany. ; ,
