CHILD’S LEG CRUSHED i —— (Peg United Press Association.) DARGAVILLE, October 12. While Villa Sweet, the three-year-old daughter of Mr E. Sweet, a relief worker, was playing in the railway yard at Tangowahine on a trolly, with her small brother, the trolly backed into a Public Works locomotive, with the result that she had a leg crushed badly. The child was taken to the Northern Wairoa Hospital, where the limb was amputated below the knee. She was progressing favourably this morning.
