A MYSTERIOUS FIRE
■ AVIATION WORKS DESTROYED FLAMES SPREAD QUICKLY. LONDON,, October 12. (Received Oct. 12, at 11.30 p.m.) Damage amounting tp iIOO,OOO . was done, by,, a mysterious fire which destroyed the Fairey Aviation Company’s experimental' typirks at .Hamble, and ten of the world’s fastest seaplanes, which were being tested before delivery to the fleet’s air arm. Ohe seaplane was saved. The fire originated in the main office and spread so rapidly that the huge wooden building was a burning mass before the brigades could get to work. The flames were 50 feet high and were seen 20 miles away. ‘
