Wales and Prince George have, concluded , their, visit, to Sweden.On the eve of their departure the. Prince . of Wales broadcast a speech in which he expressed to the people of Sweden warm thanks for the friendly reception . ...giyen/tDi his Jtirother and himself.. He iy was.much impressed by all,he hgd.seen, by the beauty of Sweden’s country and capital and by those aspects of industrial life which he had been able to inspect.,, ~,, i Commenting on the widespread knowledge of the English language amongst all classes in Sweden, lie expressed the opinion that the Swedes were wise to learn English because it was becoming one of the best aiid easiest 'means, of intercourse between nations. It was a great satisfaction to observe tile growing tendency in. Sweden towards, commercial and cultural relations with Britain, which, he assured the Swedes, Britain would reciprocate fully and warmly. King Gustav and several members of the Swedish Royal Family were at the station when the Princes left,’as well as a great crowd/ The Princes are spending this evening at Gothenburg before’ leaving at midnight V for Malm'o, where an .aeroplane will :be taken to Hamburg. Prince George will then fly to London, while the Prince of Wales will pay a short private visit :to Amsterdam. He will, stay at the British Legation. ; 1 ;
