When a plaintiff in a compensation case before the Arbitration Court in Wanganui was being questioned as to the type of work he could do with four, fingers of his right hand amputated, his Honor Mr Justice Frazer wanted to know whether he could pull the handle of a beer pump. Plaintiff replied that he could with his left hand. Mr W. Cecil. Prime (employers’ representative) asked to be enlightened as to how the plaintiff could hold the glass under those circumstances. Plaintiff: I couldn’t hold a, glass with my right hand.' I had them on a«tray. Coun-, eel for defendant: Could you drink a glass of beer. Plaintiff: Yes, easily.— (Laughter.)
