CHURCH ENTERTAINMENT A concert in nid of the basket ball candidates at the “ Pageant of Olympia/’ which has been organised by the Mornington Methodist Church during the past few weeks, was held in the Moming.,oll Methodist Sunday School' Hall last' evening. The programme was in the hands of the Dunedin Sunshine Entertainers, whose singing, dancing, and elocutionary items were thoroughly appreciated by the large audience. The performers included a number of prize winners at the last festival of the Dunedin Competitions Society, and a very high standard was reached in many of the numbers which were presented. The programme was ns follows: Dancing items —Miss Doreen Wheeler’s party and Miss Gwen Webster’s party; minstrel troupe items, Miss Brook’s party; vocal soles —Miss Clancy, Masters Henry, Robinson. Kane; instrumental numbers— Miss Smith, Masters Hornal, Henderson, Kane, Wood, Rowlett, and Lawrence; elocutionary items, Master Davidson; solo dancing, Misses Todd and Atkinson. The accompaniments for the evening were artistically played by Misses Smith and Henderson and Mrs Montague.
