CAMEL WHO REMEMBERED
MASTER’S TERRIBLE FATE. * A Sikh villager near Bombay, India, has been killed by a camel which had a grievance against the man and was known to have harboured its revenge for six months. , , , The animal showed such resentment toward its master that he had ceased for some time to take it out alone. Believing, however, that the camel had forgotten its anger, he took it into a field to gather fodder. When he did not return his relatives went in search of the man. They found that the camel had allowed itself to be loaded. Then, when its master had mounted, it raced for two miles in the wrong direction. On reaching <\ lonely place the animal turned its head and pulled the rider to the ground. Its powerful teeth crushed his leg like matchwood, and when it got him helpless it was an easy task to kill. On the relatives of the victim approaching the camel it attacked them furiously.
