JUBILEE CONFERENCE SPECIAL FUND CONSTITUTED. (Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, October 11. The jubilee conference of the Baptist Union was continued to-day, Dr J. J. North presiding. The chief business was the revision of the constitution of the Baptist Union, carefully prepared amendments being submitted to the assembly. It was resolved that the assembly appoint a denominational evangelist and that the Executive Committee present details of the scheme to a later meeting of the assembly. It was reported that a special jubilee fund for church, extension had been formed with an initial gift of £SOO from the Auckland Tabernacle. The moneys in the fund will be lent to churches frci of interest. A committee of five is to be appointed to administer the fund.
