BRITISH FIRMS ACTIVE AGENTS IN DENMARK (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, October 10. British firms are losing no time in following up the recent exhibition in Denmark. All the exhibitors have appointed agents, while a small army of travellers has already gone there to gather orders. The British exhibition at Copenhagen is being moved to Stockholm at the request of Swedish business people. The Federation of British Industries states that the biggest industrial drive since the war is being conducted in Denmark, where our share of the imports in the past eight’ months has risen from 121 to 25 per cent, compared with 1931. Neighbouring countries have already caught the idea of buying British goods increasingly. SUCCESS OF EXHIBITION. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, October 10. (Received Oct. 11, at 5.5 p.m.) It is estimated that 400,000 people visited the British Trade Exhibition in Copenhagen, which closed yesterday.
