The Poolta is due this morning from Gisborne to load general cargo. She is expected to sail to-night for Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne, via ports.

The Opihi, which arrived at Dunedin shortly after midnight from Westport, will discharge coal and load general cargo to-day. She is timed to sail to-morrow for Wellington, Nelson, New Plymouth, and Westport, via ports. The Storm, which arrived here yesterday morning from Wellington, sailed last night for Timaru and Lyttelton to completo loading lor Wellington, Picton, and Wanganul. The Totara is duo to-day from Wellington and Lyttelton. She will sail to-morrow for Timaru to complete loading for Wellington. The Walpiata Is to leave Auckland on Thursday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. She is due here on September 7.

The motor vessel Port Waikato has been fixed to load at Dunedin on September 5 for Tauranga, Auckland, and Whangarei. She will also load at Timaru, Lyttelton, and Wellington. ' The American steamer Golden Eagle arrived at Auckland on Saturday from Los Angeles. After unloading a quantity of cargo from Pacific coast ports she sailed for Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, and Australia. Cabled advice received from Sydney by Burns, Philp, and Co., Ltd., states that the Norwegian motor ship Triton is scheduled to reach Auckland from South Africa, via Australia, on September 6. The vessel has maize from Capetown and hardwood from Western Australia for discharge at this port. Tlio Japanese motor ship Melbourne Maru, en route from Japan, has been further delayed. She will now leave Geelong (Australia) on September 7, and is due at Wellington about September 13, and Auckland on September la.The Port Wellington has been delayed in Australia, and her loading itinerary dates in New Zealand have been revised. The vessel is now scheduled to load at Bluff on September 12, and afterwards at Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, New Plymouth, and Auckland. She Is scheduled to leave Auckland for London, via Cape Horn; on September 28. The Bank Line motor ship Deebamr, cleared Balboa on August 11, in continuation of her voyage from Cuba to Auckland. The vessel has a cargo of raw sugar for discharge at Chelsea, and is duo at Auckland about September 8. The Union Company's Komata, which was paid off at Wellington on August 22, has been laid up in the stream. .. The Bank Line motor ship Comliebank, 5149 tons gross, left Trinidad on July 14, via St. Vincent, for Auckland, Wanganul, Premantlc, and Geraldton. She should reach Auckland about the end of September. The Union Company's Walhemo arrived at Wellington on Saturday from Napier to continue discharge of her Pacific coast cargo. She was to sail yesterday for Lyttelton, Weibourne, and Sydney to complete discharge. CAKGO EX THE WAIHEMO. The Union Company advises that the Kaimai Js to leave Wellington to-day for Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff with transhipment cargo ex the Waihemo, from- Pacific coast ports. The Kaimai is due here on Thursday. TANKER NEW ZEALAND. The Texas Oil Company advises that the tanker New Zealand will arrive at Dunedin to-morrow from San Pedro, via Australian ports, to discharge bulk 'motor spirit. The vessel will sail on Thursday for Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland to complete discharge. ARDENVOHR FROM NEW YORK. The A. and A, Line's chartered steamer Ardenvohr arrived at Auckland on Sunday from New York. The vessel's cargo is for discharge at. Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Australia. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Dunedin cargo will be transhipped from Wellington. , MATAI FOR CHATHAM ISLANDS. The Government steamer Matal is to arrive at Lyttelton this morning from Wellington, and. Is to sail this evening with passengers, \malls, and cargo for Waltangi, Chatham Islands. .. I MOTOR SHIP MAUI POMARE. The Government motor ship Maul Pomare is expected to arrive at Lyttelton on September 5 from Apia and Nluo Island with fruit. She is to sail the same day for Wellington, where she will complete discharge. The Maul Pomare is timed to leave Wellington on September 13 for Apia and Niue Island., PORT HUNTER LEAVES MONTEVIDEO. The Port Hunter,' which left Auckland, on August 6 for London, via Montevideo "and Dakar, sailed from Montevideo" on August 25. FRUIT, FROM THE ISLANDS.' Cable advice has been received that the Union Company'siWaipahl left Suva last,Thursday with 7200 cases of bananas for Auckland. She is due at the northern port to-day. CITY OF DELHI LEAVES NEW YORK. The City of Delhi left New York on August 19, and Newport News on August 22, for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin, via Gulf of Mexico ports. Brusey, a well-known figure In the Napier waterfront trade for many years, died last Friday morning at the age of 73 years. Captain Bru»ey had been closely Identified with the fishing industry in Napier for many years, having brought the trawler Nora Nivcn from England to Napier for the New Zealand Trawling Company. For many years after the arrival of the Nora Niven, Captalno Brusev served with the New Zealand Trawling Company. Captain Brusey is survived by one son, Mr H. Brusey, of Wellington.
