The steamer Plscus, which Is discharging phosphates at the Ravensbourne wharf, will sail about , Thursday for Sydney. The coastal steamer Orepukl is due at Wellington on Wednesday from Nelson, where she has been undergoing overhaul. She will sail the same day for southern ports. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s passenger liner Ruahlne, having completed her Homeward loading, left Auckland at daybreak on Thursday for London, via Panama and Curacao. • „ , The Shaw, Savlll and Albion steamer Talroa, frbm London, arrived at Auckland last Thursday. The Talroa Is due at Wellington on Wednesday. . The Port Gisborne Is to leave London on September 7 for Auckland and Dunedin. She Is due at Auckland about October 12. The American steamer Golden Eagle was due at Auckland on Saturday from Los Angeles. The vessel has cargo from Pacific coast ports for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Tlmaru and Australia. The Orient liner Oronsay arrived at Fremantle on August 23 from London. She Is scheduled to reach Sydney on Wednesday. The Burns, Phllp steamer Movlnda arrived at Auckland last Friday morning from Sydney, Lord Howe Island and Norfolk Island. After landing passengers, mall and cargo she sailed on Friday evening for Norfolk Island, New Hebrides and Sydney. The Piako, from Newport in ballast, arrived at Bluff yesterday morning. The vessel will commence Homeward loading at Bluff. REMUERA LEAVES LONDON. Cable advice received by the New Zealand Shipping Company states that the Remuera left London on August 25 for Wellington and Auckland. She Is due at Wellington'on October 1. CAPETOWN’S NEW HARBOUR. It is claimed that the largest vessel afloat or contemplated could be berthed in Capetown's new harbour. A quay 2400 feet long, with a depth at the seaward end of 36 feet at low water ordinary spring tides, has been completed, and five new berths aro now available for average-sized steamers or for a lesser number of large liner*.

THE PORT FREMANTLE. The C. and D. Line motor ship Port Fremantle Is to leave London on September 28 for Suva, Lyttelton,' Dunedin and Bluff. She Is due at Lyttelton about November 14. CARGO FROM LIVERPOOL. The C. and D. Line motor ship Port Dunedin Is to' sail from Liverpool on September 17 for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. She Is due at Auckland about October 24. CARGO FROM PACIFIC COAST. The Union Company's steamer Walkawa Is to sail from Los Angeles on September 8 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Australia. She Is due at Auckland about October 3. TAINUI FROM LONDON. The Shaw, Savlll and Albion liner Talnul Is to sal! from London on September 7 and Southampton on September 9 for Wellington and Lyttelton. She Is due at Wellington about October 17. OTIRA AT PORT CHALMERS. The Shaw, Savlll and Albion steamer Otlra arrived on Saturday morning from London, via Kingston (Jamaica), Pandma, Suva and Lyttelton. She was berthed at the George street wharf. Port Chalmers, where the Dunedin portion of her Home cargo Is being discharged.
