TOURIST TRAFFIC
VISITORS TO BRITAIN THE FIGURES FOR JULY. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, August 24. (Received August 25, at 5.5 p.m.) Tourists and other holiday makers from foreign countries who visited Britain during July numbered 41,709. More than one-third of them came from the United States, but the numbers, which have risen considerably during the present month, show that French, German and other Continental visitors come to England in exceptionally large numbers.
