NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF SPECIAL ORDER MAKING A BYLAW. PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Green Island Borough Council at a Special Meeting convened for the purpose, and held on Tuesday, the 7th day of June, 1932, Passed the following Resolution making a By-law to be known as “The Green Island Borough By-law No. 8, 1932,” the object and purport of such By-law being to Empower the said Council to prescribe the manner in which and the conditions under which water shall be supplied from the Borough Waterworks, and to fix chargee for ordinary supplies and extraordinary supplies as defined by the aforesaid By-law, such By-law to supersede By-law No. 3, which is hereby Revoked. The Resolution referred to is as follows: That the Green Island Borough Council in pursuance of the powers and provisions of “ The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920,” and in pursuance of all and every other power contained in any other Act enabling the said Corporation in that behalf, Hereby Resolves that the proposed By-law submitted herewith, to be known as “ The Green Island Borough, By-law, No. 8, 1932,” empowering the said Council to prescribe the manner in which and the conditions under which water shall be supplied from the Borough Waterworks, and to fix charges for ordinary supplies and extraordinary supplies as defined by the aforesaid By-law to supersede By-law No. 3, which is hereby Revoked. And it is Further Resolved that this Resolution be submitted to the Ordinary Monthly Meeting of the Green Island Borough Council to be held on TUESDAY, the sth day of JULY, 1932, for Confirmation as a Special Order, to which Meeting the said proposed By-law, shall also be Submitted for Adoption. AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that the said Resolution will be submitted to the Ordinary Monthly Meeting of the said Council to be held at 7.30 p.m. on TUESDAY, the sth day of JULY, 1932, for Confirmation as a Special Order, to which Meeting the said By-law shall also be submitted for Adoption.
