GOVERNMENT’S PROGRAMME DEADLOCK OVER ECONOMIES. PARIS, July 3. A deadlock has arisen over the Government’s economies. The Radical Socialist supporters of M. Herriot joined the Socialists in rejecting economies totalling £0,000,000. ' ’ M. Palmade (Budget Minister) declares that it is impossible to accept the rejection. The Chamber’s Finance Commission is now attempting to provide a compromise.
