The Oplhi sailed last evening for Wellington, Kelson, and New Plymouth, via ports. The Poolta, which arrived last evening from Wellington direct, will sail this afternoon for Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne, via Oamaru, Timaru, and Lyttelton. *- The Kalraai, which arrived late on Sunday night from Greymouth, via ports, will go to Port Chalmers tp-day to discharge the remainder of her cargo of coal. She will sail hence for Greymouth direct. The Holmglen Is expected to arrive at, Dunedin on Thursday night from Port Waikato and Plcton, via Lyttelton. She will sail on Friday for Tlmaru, Lyttelton, and Wellington to complete loading for New Plymouth and Port Waikato. The Port Waikato Is expected to arrive here on July 8 from northern ports. She will sail on July 12 for Tlmaru, Lyttelton, and Wellington to complete loading for Tauranga, Auckland, and Whangarol. The John Is due at Dunedin on July 11 from Wanganui, via ports, sailing the same day for Tlmaru, Lyttelton, and Wellington. The Gale Is timed to sail this evening for Tlmaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. Tht Union Company advises that the Walplata was expected to leave Wellington yesterday afternoon for Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. She is due here to-morrow, and will sail the same day for the southern port. She will return from Bluff to load out on Saturday for Tlmaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. The Walmarlno Is scheduled to leave Auckland at noon on Thursday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Oamaru, and Tlmaru. The Tekoa is to sail from Liverpool on July 28 for Port Chalmers and Lyttelton. She Is due at Port Chalmers on September 3. The Tamaroa is to commence loading at Port Chalmers about August 1, thence Tlmaru, Lyttelton; and Auckland. She is to sail finally from Auckland on August 20 for Southampton and London, via Panama. The steamer Parracombo was duo at Auckland yesterday with a cargo of raw sugar from Cuba. The Swedish motor ship Tlsnarcn cleared Capetown on June 28 for Adelaide, Melbourne, Wellington, and Auckland. She is duo at Wellington about August 2. After unloading a raw sugar cargo at Chelsea and undergoing minor repairs, the Bank Line steamer Elverlc sailed from Auckland on June 29 for Newcastle to replenish bunkers. Her future movements from Newcastle have not been announced. WAINUI FROM MELBOURNE. The Walnul, from Melbourne, via Bluff, Is due at Dunedin this morning to discharge general cargo. She will sail this afternoon for Lyttelton and Wellington to complete discharge, thence Bluff and Melbourne. WAIKOUAITI LEAVES SYDNEY. The Union Company advises that the Walkoualtl, which loaded at Newcastle and Sydney, left the latter port on Friday for Bluff, Dunedin, Tlmaru, Lyttelton, and Oamaru. Her cargo for this port Includes transhipments ex the Taiplng, Nleuw Holland, Troja, Largs Bay, Kitano Maru, Tanda, Commissalre Hamel, Barrabool, Tugaren, Corfu, and Montreal Maru. The Canadian Conqueror sailed from Montreal on June 25 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin, and Australia. She is due at Auckland about August 6, and Dunedin about August 15. ARRIVALS AT ENGLISH PORTS. The Raranga, which sailed from Wellington on May 18 for London and tho west coast ports of the United Kingdom, arrived at London last Thursday evening. The Mataroa, which sailed from Auckland on May 28 for Southampton and London, arrived at Southampton last Thursday evening. The Talroa, which sailed from Wellington oh May 24 for Southampton and London, arrived at Southampton on the evening of Juno 30. ARMADALE FROM NEW YORK. I The A. and A. Line’s chartered motor ship Armadale arrived at Auckland on Saturday morning from America to unload general cargo from New York and sulphur from Texas. Tho vessel’s other discharging ports are Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Wanganui, Sydney, and Adelaide. She Is duo at this port about July 14. FLAT ROCK LIGHT. Tho Marine Department has been advised that Flat Rock light is flashing irregularly. It will be attended to by the Government steamer Matal on her present’visit to northern lighthouses. PASSENGER LINER MALWA SOLD. The P. and O. liner Malwa, 10,086 tons gross, built by Caird and Co., Greenock, In 1908, has been sold to Japanese shlpbheakers, with delivery .Japan. v TONGARIRO AT OAMARU. The steamer Tongarlro, from London in ballast, was expected at Oamaru yesterday. The vessel will commence loading at Oamaru, completing at Timaru, Wanganui, Napier, Wellington, Port Chalmers, and Bluff. The Tongarlro Is due at Port Chalmers about July 25, and is to sail from Bluff on July 29 for Southampton. and London, via Dakar. PERSONAL ITEMS. Mr G. W. Evans, chief officer of the Wlngatul, has signed, off tho vessel. Mr R. B. Brebner has been appointed acting chief officer, Mr G. M. Schofield acting second officer, and Mr A H. Dunning has joined the vessel as third officer. Mr S. A. Smith, second officer of the Marama, has transferred to the Rangatlra, relieving Mr W. I. Hill, who has come ashore for orders.
