The City Council will on that date issue' Renewal Loans in debentures of £IOO, having a currency of seven (7)' years, which will be offered to the public. The rate of interest will be 5\ per cent., payable free of exchange anywhere in New Zealand. The Loans and interest and sinking fund thereon are secured by special rates on the proved Value of the City of Wellington. Holders of debentures of the present loans may take up debentures of the renewal loans, and application for same should be made ns soon as possible. THESE RENEWAL LOANS ARE NOT SUBJECT TO THE STAMP DUTY UNDER THE NATIONAL EXPENDITURE ADJUSTMENT BILL. Applications should be made to the City Treasurer, Town Hall, Wellington. - f E.'P.
