OTAGO HUNT CLUB
MEET AT EAST TAIERI. The Otago Hunt Club will hold its weekly meet at Bast Taieri to-morrow afternoon, Messrs J. iregilgus, W. M Millan, J. Douglas, J. Campbell, and J. Dunery having kindly granted the club permission to hunt over their fine properties. Although the present members ot the club have never hunted over these properties before, it might be mentioned that a hunt was held over them some 16 years ago. An excellent run has been arranged over entirely flat country with good runs between the jumps, and about 15 jumps will be negotiated by those taking part. The throw-off will take place in Mr Tregilgus’s property, which is on the oppsite side of the road to the Mosgiel Railway Station. The trail will then take the followers across country through Messrs M’Millan, Douglas and Campbell’s properties, the kill taking place in Mr Dunery’s property, which is just past the East Taieri Cemetery, on the Main South road. Spectators desirous of witnessing the hunt can obtain an excellent view of the whole run from the Main South road directly opposite the Mosgiel Railway Station. Followers will meet at the Mosgiel Railway Station at 3.15 p.m.
