(Received April 23, at 0.15 a.m.) A conflagration which was fanned by a "ale and lasted throughout the night, wiped out Omiya, at the base of Fuji. Thirteen hundred houses were destroyed and there were several deaths and scores were severely injured. The damage is estimated at 3,000,000 yen.
