A STATEMENT The Directors of Associated Motorists Petrol Co. Ltd. ; following announcement;— ” The Directors have pleasure in announcing the rapid progress being made in the activities of the Company. The final phases of preparation and organisation are now complete and tenders have been called for building tanks OF AN AGGREGATE CAPACITY OF 3,000,000 (THREE MILLION) GALLONS. A wonderful response has been received from Service ' Station Proprietors throughout the Dominion asking for distribution rights in their respective territories and supplies of petrol will be available at an early date in every convenient point throughout New Zealand.” * CHEAPER PETROL FOR MEMBERS. It has been apparent to motorists and petrol consumers generally that the price of petrol in New Zealand has been too high and they have sought ways of co-operating to enable them to arrange for cheaper petrol by direct bulk importation. As a result, ASSOCIATED MOTORISTS PETROLV CO. Lf D. has been formed. This is a New Zealand Organisation, with New Zealand Capital and the Directors are well-known New Zealand business men. IT IS REQUIRED TO BE MADE DEFINITELY KNOWN THAT NO FOREIGN CAPITAL WHATEVER ENTERS INTO THIS CONCERN. Petrol will be handled by the Company on a National basis and extensive plant erected at AUCKLAND, WELLINGTON, LYTTELTON and DUNEDIN immediately for bulk distribution throughout New Zealand. The products will be available at existing Service Stations throughout the North and South Islands. It is a matter for congratulation that the sale of share; has exceeded the most sanguine expectations, in fact, early application is recommended to thdse wishing to avail themselves of the remainder. \ ' Local Sharebrokers: P.
