On Thursday evening an enjoyable concert was held in the Gladstone Presbyterian Church Hall, which was filled by an appreciative audience. The piano was lent by the Pine Hill School Committee, and the sweets that were sold helped to add to the enjoyment of the evening. The programme consisted of the following items: —Two pianoforte duets, Misses Wilson and Robertson; song, Miss A. MTntosh; recitation, Miss Robertson; song, Miss Pollock; violin solo, Mifjg Dora Wilson; two recitations, Miss Marjory Brown ; humour, Miss Watson : song, Mrs Broad: song. Miss A. Wilson; recitation. Miss Hardman; monologue, Miss Cowie; song, Mrs M’Auley; song, Mrs Ikin; ventriloquist item, Mr Eggers; song, Mr O’Sullivan; pianoforte solo, Mr George Ball; instrumental, Mr Siuton; guitar duct, Messrs Mnitlin and Taric; humour, Mr Smith.
