THE BURWOOD CRIME

SEARCH FOR “WANTED” MAN WARRANT ISSUED FOR ARREST.

SYDNEY, April 15. (Received April 15, at 9 p.m.)

A warrant was issued to-day for the arrest of William Fletcher, alias Moxley, on a charge of having murdered Francis Wilkinson and Dorothy Denzel. The police are convinced that their man is hiding in the scrub in the Liverpool district, where the atrocious crime was committed, and they declare that he has no possible chance of escape. A person answering to his description early this morning visited a dairy at Bankstown and said: “ For goodness sake give me a drink.” The dogs %vere put on to him, and he disappeared in the darkness. Largo parties of civilians are helping in the search.
