GOLD-WASHING DEMONSTRATIONS So popular have become Mr T. E. Roche’s demonstrations of gold-washing at the St. Andrew street depot that each one brings many requests for more, and several persons have travelled long distances in order to see Mr Roche. It is evident that he has captured the imagination of his spectators, and his demonstrationg and talks on Lie on the goldfields are followed with the closest interest. ■ As a direct result of his operations Mr Roche has been able .to place several young men on prospecting work with experienced miners,, who are seeking young and enthusiastic partners .willing to put up with the hardships of the life. Mr Roche will give a demonstration at 10 o’clock to-morroW morning and another at 3 o’clock on Saturday afternoon. .
