Parcels for Fiji and America close 3 p.m. March 31. EASTER HOLIDAYS. Good Friday (March 25) and Easter Monday (March 28) will be observed as close holidays. Mails for despatch on Good Friday will close at 8 p.m. on Thursday, and those for despatch on Easter Alonday will close at 7 a.m. on that day. A delivery will not be made by postmen on Good Friday and Easter Monday, but.mail matter may be obtained between 7 and 8 p.m. on Thursday and Saturday on application at the postmen’s branch (first floor). Chief Post Office. The usual midnight clearance of street letter receivers will not be made on Thursday. The Telegraph Offices at Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, and Wellington will be open from 10 to 10.30 a.m. and from sto 6 p.m. on Good Friday. The same offices will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to midnight on Easter Alonday. In respect of all other places please see Post and Telegraph Guide. The Telephone Exchanges at all principal places will be open continuously throughout the holidays. On Easter Saturday the usual hours ot attendance will be observed in all branches. DAILY.
