BRITAIN’S DAVIS CUP PLAYERS DEFEATED BY SCHOOLBOYS. PARIS, March 20. Unexpected humiliation overtook the British Davis Cup representatives in the London-Paris match, played on wooden courts, when Marcel Bernard, a schoolboy, and a left-hander, defeated Austin, 3—6, 6 —2, 7—5, 9 —7. Bernard exploited a service which is one of the fiercest in France. Bernard and Andre Merlin, another schoolboy, yesterday beht Perry and Hughes. To-day they defeated Austin and Olliff, 6 —2, 5—7, & —4, 7 —5. Buzelet and Poulaillon defeated Perry and Hughes, 4 —6, 6—l, I—6, 6—4. 6—4. Paris leads by 9 to 5.
