COMPANY’S FAILURE
JUDGE’S HUMOROUS COMMENT.
LONDON, March 7
“ What does this company do ? ” asked Mr Justice Bennett, at a preliminary hearing of an application for the compulsory winding up of Marine Products, Limited. Counsel: Catches sharks. Mr Justice Bennett: That is what we do here.
Counsel: But the company was not so successful as your Lordship is. The company was formed in 1926 to catch sharks in Western Australia, and tan th e skins for commercial uses. It purchased a yacht, the Istar, which never left the Thames.
