The total annual output by the British and Foreign Bible Society, of Bibles and New Testaments has risen from 785,000 10 years ago to 1,705,000 last year. These wore the editions in English and Welsh only. —Travel by air is becoming cheaper, although it is still; of course, costly. It is possible to go from England to Karachi, 5000 miles, in just over five days, for £9B. The first class journey by land and water costs only £6 less and takes about 12 days longer.
