The Opihi is duo at Dunedin to-morrow morning from Wellington to load general cargo for Wellington, Nelson, and New Plymouth. The Walnui Is due hero this morning from Melbourne, via Bluff, to discharge general cargo. She is to sail this afternoon for Lyttelton and Wellington to complete discharge. The Waipiata is duo at Dunedin this morning from Auckland, via ports, to discharge general cargo. She is to sail this afternoon for Bluff.

The Wlngatul is to leave Auckland on Thursday evening with general cargo for discharge at Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Tlmaru. A radio message from the Middlesex, bound from Antwerp to Auckland, states that she expects to arrive at the northern port tomorrow afternoon. The vessel has a basic slag cargo for discharge at Auckland and New Plymouth.

The motor liner Taranaki was duo at Wellington on Saturday from Napier to continue Homeward loading. She will not now leave Wellington for Auckland until March 27. The Port Alma, which loaded at New Plymouth, was to leave the Taranaki port on Saturday for Nelson. She will be at Wellington from March 24 to March 30. The Shaw, Savlll, and Albion steamer Itaranga reached Port Said on March 14, en rout from London to Australia. WAIKOUAITI RECOMMISSIONED. The Union Company’s cargo steamer Walkouaitl, having completed annual overhaul and survey, will be recommissioned at - Port Chalmers this morning. She will then come to Dunedin to load, and will sail this evening for Sydney and Newcastle, via Bluff. CARGO EX THE WAIKAWA. The Union Company advises that the Totara Is due at Dunedin on Sunday next from Wellington with Pacific coast cargo transhipped from the Walkawa. MOTOR VESSEL FORT WAIKATO. The Intercolonial motor ship Port Waikato was due at Auckland last Friday from Sydney. The vessel has cargo for discharge at Auckland, Tauranga, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. The Port Waikato Is duo here on Friday, and will load general cargo for Wellington, Tauranga, Auckland. Whangarei, and Dargaville. HAURAKI FROM PACIFIC COAST. With cargo from Pacific coast ports, the Union Company’s motor ship Haurakl left Los Angles on March 17 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Australia. She is due at Auckland on April 8. ROTORUA LEAVES CARACAS BAY, Advice received by the New Zealand Shippany Company states that the Rotorua, en route from London to Suva, Wellington, Port Chalmers, Lyttelton, Tlmaru, and New Plymouth, left Caracas Bay on March 18. The vessel Is due at Wellington on April 18. WAIPAHI TO REPLACE TOFUA. The Walpahi will replace the Tofua, which left Auckland yesterday on her last trip to the Islands. The Tofua Is scheduled to return to Auckland on April 11, and the Walpahi will be despatched for Suva, Tonga, and Samoa on Saturday, April 16. Afterwards the Waipahl will leave Auckland every fourth Saturday, Instead of Monday, which was the Tofua’s sailing day. The Poolta, will take up the Walpahl’s running in the Dilnedln-Napier-Gisborne service. She Is timed to leave Dunedin on April 12. KARETU’S REGULAR SERVICE. The Karetu left Sydney on March 11 for Lautoka, Suva, Levuka, Tonga, and Auckland. She Is bringing fruit from Tonga and is due at Auckland on March 29. The vessel will make regular monthly trips between Sydney, the Islands, and Auckland. From Auckland she will return to Sydney, via Newcastle. On her next trip she is scheduled to leave Sydney on April 8.

PIAKO IN BALLAST. En route from Cardiff In ballast for New Zealand, via the Cape of Good Hope, the Plako has reported by wireless that she expects to arrive at Wellington at 6 a.m. on Thursday to commence Homeward loading. CUMBERLAND LEAVES CARACAS BAY. The Cumberland, which left London on March 3 In ballast for Now Zealand, sailed from Caracas Bay on the morning of March 17. She Is due on the coast about April 9. BBNHOLM FROM NEW YORK. Running under the auspices of the A. and A. Line, the steamer Bonholm was scheduled to leave New York on March 17 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Australia, via Galveston. She Is due at Auckland about April 28. RUAHINB AT AUCKLAND. With passengers and mall from London, the Now Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Ruahlne arrived at Auckland on Saturday afternoon. The vessel left London on February 11. The Ruahlne will commence her loading during discharge at Wellington about March 28. She will later complete at Bluff, Tlmaru, Lyttelton, and Wellington. The slatson Line steamer Sierra, which arrived at Auckland last Friday from Los Angeles, is making her last voyage In the America-AucWand-Sydney service. When the vessel returns to America from Sydney, via Auckland, she will be withdrawn. The company’s steamers Sonoma and Ventura will each make another voyage In the service,, and then they will be withdrawn. The Sonoma left Los Angeles on slarch 18, and the Ventura Is scheduled to sail on April S. The service will then be continued by the company’s new 19,000 ton steamers slariposa and slonterey, which will leave Los Angeles for Auckland and Sydney, via Honolulu, Pago Pago, and Suva, every four weeks, making the voyage from Los Angeles to Auckland in 15 days.
