BOWLING
LOGAN PARK v. MIDDLEMARCH. The Logan Park Bowling Club travelled to Middlemarch on Saturday. The weather and the green were ideal for bowling. Four rinks of men and three rinks of ladies played for the Casey and Cornish Cups respectively. The men’s section won its contest by 11 points, and ladies’ section was victorious by 16 points. Afternoon tea was served on Mr T. W. Wise’s lawn. At the conclusion of the game Mr Porteous presented Mr Thompson with the cup. and thanked the Logan Park Club for making the trip to Middlemarch.
