CARGILL ROAD HARRIERS
CLUB’S ANNUAL MEETING The Cargill Road Methodist Harrier and Amateur Athletic Club held its twenty-second annual meeting on Monday, March 1, there being a good attendance ©f members and supporters. The president (the Rev. H. L. Blamires) was in the chair.
The annual report showed that a very successful season was experienced, and although not prominent in outside fixtures, a high standard of running was maintained. The balance sheet gave further proof of the state of affairs, as a good credit balance wag shown.- Several new nembers were elected.
The official opening run was fixed f° r Saturday, April 9. The following officers were elected for the ensuing season:—Patron, Mr A. T. M'lndoe; president, the Rev. G. E. Brown; vice-presidents—the Revs. H. L. Blamires and W. H. Greenslade. Messrs L. Mercier, J. T. Barclay, R. C. Graves, J. Hehnkey, E. J, King, W. Bezett, C. E. Ridley, S. H. Wellington, G. Slater, and G. T. Fraser; captain, Mr W. P. Wellington; deputy-captain, Mr F. Harman; secretary, Mr A. L. Fox; treasurer, Mr E. Yeoman; reporter, Mr A. Barclay; auditor, Mr W. W. Ashby; hon. trainer. Mr E. J. Gray; delegate to centre, Mr A. T, M'lndoe; handicappers—Messrs R. C. Graves, W. P. Wellington, and F. Harman; committee —Messrs G. Marett, A. J)ay, and I. Chivers.
