SMALL STATE SUBSIDY,
(Pee United Press Association.) GREYMOUTH, March 19.
To assist the timber industry where exports to Australia are concerned, the Unemployment Board will grant for a limited period a subsidy on exported rimu, sap matai, and tawa. The State subsidy is the difference between the exchange the exporter is paying and £lO5.
