ROBBERY AT A BANK. PEPPER THROWN AT OFFICER. SYDNEY, March 18. (Received March 18, at 11.30 p.m.) Bank robbers entered the branch of the Bank of New South Wales at Muswellbrook to-day. They threw pepper in the eyes of W. Murray, the only officer present, and also hit him on the head with an ebony ruler, rendering him unconscious. The thieves stole at least £IOO, but a larger sum was overlooked.
