VISIT TO TASMANIA SECOND MATCH COMMENCED (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) HOBART, January 15. (Received Jan. 10, at 0.15 a.m.) The South Africans commenced their second match against Tasmania to-day in splendid weather and on an excellent wicket. Tasmania won the toss and batted. They made a good start, 82 for the first wicket, but afterwards the bowlers obtained mastery and they were all out for 164. South Africa lost Mitchell for a single and Christy for nil, his first “duck” of the tour, and two wickets were down for four. Dalton, off the first ball from Nash, got an ugly hit on the jaw and was assisted from the field. The third wicket fell at 7 and the fourth at 25. Viljoen and Morkel stopped the collapse, taking the total to 84, when Viljoen was caught off Nash. Following are the scores: — TASMANIA. First Innings.
