CONDITIONS IN THE NORTH. (Special to Daily,, Times.) WELLINGTON, January 15. To-day was overcast and cooler in Wellington. Soon after 6 p.tn. rain began to fall. The wind was light from the south. - CHRISTCHURCH, January 15. After light showers during the night, 12 points of rain fell. To-day was dull with a fresh breeze from the south-west. The maximum temperature was 64 degrees. The barometer was steady at 29.95 in.
