THE WEATHER
REPORTS FROM OTHER CENTRES. (Special to Daily Times.) AUCKLAND, January 14. The weather was fine in the morning and overcast and humid in the afternoon. A light breeze was blowing from the south-west. The barometer was falling toward evening. WELLINGTON, January 14. To-day was humid and overcast in Wellington. The wind from the north was light. CHRISTCHURCH, January 14. The weather to-day was cloudy but warm, the maximum temperature being 71 degrees. The wind changed from E.S.E. to S.W., and this evening there was a brief shower. Conditions remain threatening. The barometer was steady at 29.78 in, but commenced to rise to-night.
