MIDWIFERY AND , MATERNITY Results in the State examinations for midwives and maternity nurses, held on December 9 and 10, have been released by the Department of Health, Wellington. The list of successful Otago and Southland candidates in the midwives’ examination is as follows (not in order of merit) Passed with 75 per cent, and over.— Hurst, Josephine S., St. .Helens Hospital, Invercargill. • w Passed.—Eyles. Mary, St. Helens Hospital, Invercargill. * The successful Otago and Southland candidates in the maternity nurses’ examination were as follow: Passed with 75 per cent, and over.— Hawes, Iris A., and La Vie, Gwendolen G., Batchelor Hospital, Dunedin; Lindsay, Mary L., St. Helens Hospital, Dunedin. Passed. —Aitcheson, Phyllis M., Batchelor Hospital. Dunedin; Miles, Ethel 1., St. Helens Hospital, Dunedin; Mackay, Jean R., Ranfurly Hospital.
