WESTERN SPRINGS SPEEDWAY. (Peb United Peess Association.) AUCKLAND, January 10. The success of the English nderi, “Nobby” Key and Roger krogley, completely dwarfed the efforts of the local men at the cinder track racingat Western Springs last evening. Alf. Mattson (Auckland), the Dominion champion was unable to produce his best form, and his tactics in the final international event for which there were five false starts, were resented by a large section of the spectators. There was continued applause when he was unplaced. Although there were several spectacular spills, no sedous injury resulted. The mam reeUENGLANDOIIT: AUCKLAND.-First race: N. Key (England) 1, A.
